Old Bands And Buildings

The Palais Theatre is a beautiful Art Deco picture palace in St Kilda. I love old buildings that have a decayed air of decadence and glamour, structures that exude elegance even in their rundown and reduced state.




I was admiring its faded beauty when something caught my eye. A pink poster...for...The Bangles?! Did they forget to remove the poster from the 80s?

This is what happens to bands that refuse to retire. Good buildings age beautifully. Aging bands ain't pretty.
